IMPORTANT NOTICE: Web Auto Transport LLC does NOT sell your Personal Data to third parties for monetary consideration. However, the collection of data on our behalf by certain third-party Site analytics or digital advertising service providers (such as Google Ads and Meta) may be considered a “sale” and is considered “sharing” under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) and similar state privacy laws. Web Auto Transport does NOT collect or sell Sensitive Personal Information (as defined under applicable law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA). For opt-out options, see “Your Privacy Choices” in Section 9.

4. Information We Collect and How We Collect It

We collect information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked with a particular consumer or device (“personal information”). The categories below reflect what we have collected in the preceding 12 months.

4a. Information You Provide Directly

  • Shipment details: vehicle year, make, model, pickup address, delivery address, first available pickup date, and transport preferences (open vs. enclosed).
  • Payment information: credit/debit card number for the broker deposit only. Remaining balance is paid directly to the Carrier. We do not store full card numbers on our servers — payment processing is handled by third-party processors.
  • Communications: emails, chat messages, photos or videos provided in connection with a claim or shipment record, and records of calls with our team.
  • User-generated content: reviews or feedback you submit through our Site or social media pages.

When you visit our Site, we automatically collect:

  • Internet Protocol (IP) address.
  • Browser type, version, and operating system.
  • Internet service provider, platform type, and referring website.
  • Date, time, and duration of your visit; pages viewed; and site interactions.
  • Cookies, pixel tags, and similar tracking identifiers (see Section 6).
  • Session interaction data: pages visited, time on page, links clicked, and data entered, which may be captured through session analytics tools used for website improvement.

4c. Mobile Device Information

If you access our Site via a mobile device, we may additionally collect:

  • Unique mobile device identifiers (device ID, advertising ID such as IDFA or Android Advertising ID).
  • Device type, model, manufacturer, and operating system.

We do not collect precise GPS-level geolocation from your device. We may approximate your general location from your IP address for analytics and routing purposes only.

4d. Information We Receive from Third Parties

We may receive personal information about you from third-party sources, including:

  • Third-party websites, advertising partners, and joint marketing partners.
  • Public databases and publicly available social media pages.
  • Other businesses that have separately collected your information and share it with us consistent with their own privacy policies.

We may combine information received from third parties with information we have collected directly from you to provide services, tailor content, and for other purposes described in this Policy. Data collected and stored by third parties is subject solely to those third parties’ own privacy practices.

4e. Social Media Information

If you connect our Site to a third-party social media account or interact with our social media pages, we may receive information made available through that platform (such as your public profile, name, and profile picture), subject to your privacy settings on that platform. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any social media provider.

4f. De-identified and Aggregated Data

We may de-identify or pseudonymize personal information so that it is no longer reasonably capable of identifying you (for example, by aggregating it with data about other individuals or by hashing it). We maintain and use de-identified data without attempting to re-identify it, except where permitted by applicable law. If we combine non-personal data with personal data, the combined information will be treated as personal data under this Policy.

4g. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect Sensitive Personal Information as defined under applicable law. Specifically, we do not collect: racial or ethnic origin; political opinions; religious or philosophical beliefs; health or medical data; biometric data; genetic data; sexual orientation or sex life; precise geolocation; or the content of private communications. If you believe we have inadvertently received any such information, please contact us at info@webautotransport.com.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Service delivery: to arrange motor vehicle transportation, match your order with qualified carriers, confirm bookings, and process payments.
  • Carrier matching: to provide your contact details and shipment information to Motor Carriers as part of the brokerage process. See Section 7 for details.
  • Communications: to send order updates, pickup and delivery notifications, customer support responses, and billing communications.
  • Call recording: customer service and dispatch calls may be recorded or monitored for quality assurance, training, dispute resolution, and service improvement purposes. Call recordings are stored securely on our VoIP platform and accessed only by authorized personnel.
  • Marketing: to send promotional emails, special offers, and service updates where you have provided consent or where permitted by applicable law.
  • SMS/text messaging: only where you have provided explicit opt-in consent.
  • Website analytics and personalization: to analyze Site usage, measure campaign performance, improve our services, and tailor content and advertising to your interests.
  • Advertising: to display targeted advertising to you on our Site and on third-party platforms through our advertising partners.
  • Fraud prevention and security: to detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions, unauthorized access, and other illegal activities.
  • Legal compliance: to comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful government requests, enforce our Terms and Conditions, and protect our rights.
  • Business operations: for internal purposes including audits, record-keeping, and operations improvement.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, embedded scripts, software development kits (SDKs), and similar tracking technologies (“Cookies”) to collect information automatically, analyze Site usage, and deliver targeted advertising.

Non-essential Cookies (including advertising and analytics Cookies) are not activated until you have provided consent through our cookie consent mechanism, where required by applicable law. You may withdraw cookie consent at any time through our Site’s cookie settings.

You may set your browser to refuse all or some Cookies, or to alert you when Cookies are sent. Disabling Cookies may affect some Site functionality. Third-party advertising and analytics providers (such as Google Analytics) may collect information about your online activities through Cookies placed on our Site. We do not control those third parties’ tracking technologies. You can opt out of Google Analytics data collection by downloading the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out of the sale and sharing of personal information for California residents, consistent with CCPA/CPRA requirements.

6a. Do Not Track (DNT)

Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a privacy preference you can set in your web browser to signal that you do not want certain information about your web page visits collected across websites. Because there is not yet an accepted universal standard for how to respond to browser DNT signals, our Site does not currently take any action when it receives a DNT request. For details about DNT, visit www.donottrack.us. Note that GPC signals are honored separately as described above.

7. Disclosure and Sharing of Your Information

We may sell or disclose personal information in the following circumstances. SMS opt-in data and phone numbers collected for SMS/MMS purposes are not shared with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes without your specific consent.

7a. Motor Carriers (Core Brokerage Function)

As a licensed property broker, we share your shipment details — including your name, contact information, pickup and delivery addresses, and vehicle information — with Motor Carriers for the purpose of arranging transportation. These carriers act as service providers in connection with our brokerage services. This sharing is necessary to perform the transportation contract you have entered into with us and does not constitute a “sale” of your data under CCPA/CPRA.

7b. Service Providers and Business Partners

We share personal information with vetted third-party service providers that support our operations, including payment processors, CRM platforms, email and SMS delivery platforms (such as Twilio and Customer.io), analytics providers, and IT infrastructure vendors. These service providers are contractually prohibited from using your information for their own independent marketing purposes.

7c. Third-Party Advertising and Analytics Partners

We may share de-identified, pseudonymized, or hashed information (including email addresses) with third-party advertising networks, analytics companies, and similar partners to deliver targeted advertising, measure advertising effectiveness, and identify prospective customers. This sharing may constitute a “sale” or “sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising” under the CCPA/CPRA. You may opt out as described in Section 9.

7d. Cross-Context Behavioral Advertising (CPRA “Sharing”)

Web Auto Transport does not sell Personal Data to third parties for monetary consideration. However, the collection of data on our behalf by certain third-party Site analytics or digital advertising service providers (such as Google Ads, Meta, and similar platforms) may be considered a “sale” and is considered “sharing” under the CPRA and similar state privacy laws. This sharing is necessary to deliver targeted advertising, measure advertising effectiveness, and identify prospective customers. You have the right to opt out of this sharing as described in Section 9a. For additional information about categories of information shared or third parties involved, email info@webautotransport.com.

7e. Corporate Transactions

In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, personal information may be transferred as part of the transaction or shared during due diligence. We will notify you via a prominent notice on our Site if such a transfer materially affects this Policy.

7f. Legal Obligations and Safety

We may disclose personal information to comply with a court order, law, or legal process; to respond to lawful government or regulatory requests; to enforce our Terms and Conditions; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Web Auto Transport, our customers, or others. This includes sharing information with fraud prevention and credit risk reduction service providers.

7g. With Your Consent

We may share your information for any other purpose disclosed at the time of collection, or otherwise with your explicit consent.

7h. SMS/MMS/RCS Text Message Data

Notwithstanding anything else in this Policy, Web Auto Transport does not share personal information we collect specific to our SMS/MMS/RCS text message programs (such as mobile number and record of consent) with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes without your specific consent.

7i. Optional Insurance Products (TransitShield)

When a Customer elects to purchase TransitShield, our optional Shipper’s Interest Transit Insurance product, certain shipment information (including vehicle details, pickup and delivery addresses, and customer contact information) is shared with Tint Embedded Insurance Services, LLC for the purpose of issuing coverage and processing any claims. This sharing is necessary to provide the insurance product you have requested. Tint’s privacy practices are governed by Tint’s own privacy policy, available at https://tint.ai/privacy. Customers who do not purchase TransitShield will not have their information shared with Tint.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, allow you to exercise your privacy rights, comply with our contractual obligations, enforce our policies, or as required by applicable law or regulation. Customer shipment records are generally retained for a minimum of seven (7) years to satisfy our obligations under federal transportation law and applicable tax and accounting regulations. Marketing data is retained until you opt out or until it is no longer reasonably necessary for business purposes. If you submit a deletion request, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 45 days of receipt of a verifiable request, subject to legal retention obligations.

9. Your Privacy Choices

9a. Opt Out of Sale / Sharing / Cross-Context Behavioral Advertising

You have the right to opt out of (i) the sale of your personal information; (ii) the sharing of your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising; and (iii) targeted advertising using your personal information. To opt out, email info@webautotransport.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.” We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal (see Section 6). Once you opt out, we will not sell or share your information going forward for those purposes; however, we will still share it with Motor Carriers and service providers as necessary to deliver your shipment.

To disable sharing through Cookies set on our Site by third parties for advertising and analytics purposes, adjust your preferences through our cookie consent tool. You may also use the NAI opt-out tool or the DAA’s opt-out page at https://www.privacyrights.info/.

10. Marketing Communications

By submitting a quote request or order, you agree that we may send you automated marketing emails including general business updates, special offers, promotional materials, and newsletters. We will only send marketing text messages if you provide explicit SMS opt-in consent when submitting your quote or order. You may withdraw any marketing consent at any time using the opt-out mechanisms in Section 9.

We may use your aggregated or de-identified data to assess the performance of our website, marketing campaigns, and advertising channels. We do not use individually identified data for automated profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects without your explicit consent.

11. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and physical security measures designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Personal data we store is maintained on servers located within the United States.

Where you have a password to access parts of our Site, you are responsible for keeping that password confidential.

No method of internet transmission is 100% secure. While we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted to or from our Site. Any transmission is at your own risk.

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites, plug-ins, and applications. Clicking those links may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. 13. Accessing, Correcting, and Deleting Your Information

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by emailing info@webautotransport.com or writing to us at the address in Section 2.

13a. Identity Verification

To protect your privacy and security, we must verify your identity before fulfilling any privacy rights request. When you submit a request, we will ask you to provide personal identifiers (such as your name, email address, and shipment details) that we can match against information in our records, and may ask you to confirm your request via a follow-up email to the address on file. The level of verification required may vary depending on the sensitivity of the information requested. We will use information you provide for verification purposes only.

13b. Authorized Agents

California residents and residents of other applicable states may designate an authorized agent to submit privacy rights requests on their behalf. To use an authorized agent, provide us with signed written permission clearly stating your full legal name, the full legal name of the authorized agent, and the specific permission granted. We may still require direct verification of your identity, and may contact you directly to confirm you authorized the agent to act on your behalf. Requests that do not include adequate proof of authorization may be denied.

13c. Response Timing and Non-Discrimination

We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days of receipt, unless we notify you that an extension is required. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy rights — we will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service based solely on your exercise of privacy rights.

Please note: we may not be able to delete personal information we are required to retain under federal transportation law or other legal obligations. Deletion of personal information may require deletion of your account with us.

14. Your State Privacy Rights
